Day of Archaeology 2016

Join us on Saturday, July 16th for the 2016 Day of Archaeology Festival, hosted by Archaeology in the Community (AITC)! Held at the Dumbarton House, the event will showcase dozens archaeological groups from the DMV, family activities, mock-excavations, hands-on artifact displays, lectures, music, food trucks, and face painting.

Date: Saturday, July 16th
Time: 10am to 3pm
Location: Dumbarton House, 2715 Q St. NW, Washington, D.C.

Some parking is available. The closest Metro Station is Dupont Circle via the Red Line. From the Q St. exit, the house is approximately six blocks west on Q St. NW, just over the Q St. Bridge leading to Georgetown. It is a short walk or ride on the D2 or D6 bus lines. The event is free to the public and open to people of all ages.
