Open Event on Syrian Heritage at NGS

The Archaeological Institute of America and the American Schools of Oriental Research have received funding for a summit to promote collaboration among groups doing cultural heritage work in Syria and zones of conflict. There will be twenty groups represented, and the event will take place over December 10-11.

The summit will conclude with an open (free to the public) session at the National Geographic Society on Friday, December 11, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. The public session is titled: "Protecting our Shared Heritage in Syria - An International Summit to Promote Collaboration."
